Lausanne, Switzerland, November 28 , 2001 - Debiotech, S.A., a privately held Swiss medical device company, reveals today the name of its Japanese partner with whom it has entered into a long term agreement for its IV ExpresTM infusion pump in Japan.

Under this Agreement, the leading Japanese company JMS Corporation acquired exclusive rights to manufacture and market an IV pump system and related disposable cassette from Debiotech, which provide safe and cost-effective IV multi-mode therapy in both alternate site and home care settings in Japan. The agreement is based on upfront payment and royalties to Debiotech.

The IV ExpresTM Pump system developed by Debiotech, together with its unique patented disposable cassette, provides easy to use and accurate administration of intravenous fluids in every condition of use.
