Lausanne, Switzerland, November 26, 2003: As previously announced, the Company’s CT Exprés^TM Contrast Media Injector System for CT Scan has been spun-off into a separate privately held company, SMC-Swiss Medical Care SA, and Larry Minix has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the new company.

The innovative CT Exprés^TM Contrast Media Delivery System is being launched at the RSNA Congress in Chicago, IL, next month. The launch comes at a time when there is tremendous growth and change in the Computed Tomography market, where new multi-slice scanners are rapidly replacing older modalities. CT Exprés^TM fits the requirements of this niche market. Its unique single-use disposable cassette permits delivery to be made directly from standard Contrast Media bottles. CT Exprés^TM offers the most convenient way of administering Contrast Media in the hospital and private imaging settings. In addition, CT Exprés^TM features automatic saline flush and multi-dosing to address a major need in today's imaging techniques.
