Delphi Medical Adds to its Global Distribution Network for its IVantage Infusion Pump
TROY, Mich., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi Medical Systems, a subsidiary of Delphi Corp. (NYSE: DPH - News), signed an exclusive distribution agreement for the United States for its IVantage infusion pumps, accessories and disposables with Progressive Medical, Incorporated. "This distribution agreement complements our recently announced agreement with Fresenius Kabi in Europe and Asia Pacific for the IVantage infusion pump. Together, the agreements add up to $80 million in booked sales," said Christophe Sevrain, managing director of Delphi Medical Systems. Delphi Medical and Progressive will feature the IVantage and its accessories at the National Home Infusion Association 14th Annual Conference in New Orleans, February 10 through 13. Delphi's IVantage will bear the Delphi Medical Systems logo. Miniature and accurate, the dual battery-operated and AC-powered portable pump is lightweight and small enough to be hand-held, making it ideal for use in homecare and alternate sites. 
The pump is designed so it can be easily clipped onto various accessories, such as IV poles and wheelchairs. It includes a shoulder strap and belt-clip for increased mobility, and could play an important role in hospitals, where it could be utilized for mobile in-patient care.
